INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY
Your ZENITH watch has undergone a number of quality control and accuracy tests before leaving our workshops and being transferred to the selective ZENITH authorized distribution network. An international warranty does, however, cover your watch for any manufacturing defects over a period of three years, or five years for watches certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Control of Chronometers), taking effect from the date of purchase. It is valid in all official ZENITH service centres in more than sixty countries, under the following conditions:
- The present warranty is valid for watches purchased from ZENITH authorized retailers or distributors.
- The name, address and signature of the retailer, together with the date of purchase and reference for the watch must be clearly marked on the warranty certificate.
Your watch comes with instructions including recommendations for use and maintenance requirements. The warranty does not apply in the event of use or treatment not complying with ZENITH recommendations. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of leather straps, or scratches to crystals caused by improper treatment of the article.
The water-resistant seals on ZENITH watches must be replaced every 18 months at a ZENITH authorized Customer Service centre.
For any repairs under warranty, the warranty certificate must be presented with the faulty watch at a ZENITH authorized Customer Service centre. Whenever possible, the watch must be presented to the Customer Service centre in the original box case. Any handling or alterations to a watch by a person not holding ZENITH authorization will automatically cancel the present warranty.
Customers are advised to take out insurance against loss and damage. The terms of the present warranty do not invalidate any consumer rights set by law.
